Left Area 57a as we have moved across to America.
Had a great time there and met some wonderful people.
Sure I will continue to grow veggies as I will have 7 acres in America .
Thanks to Halls Farm Allotments for some great memories.

Lovely Lavender

Lavender still growing well.
The Bee's are going crazy for it.

Blight Flag

Blight hits Bromley in Blighty  but luckily I did not grow tomatoes this year on Area 57a.

Summer Sun Ending

Summer coming to an end with mid august temperatures at 6 Am running at 8 to 10 degree's.

Parsnip Progress

24 degrees and sunny today pasnips looking healthy .

Hot humid and sunny up the lottie and everything growing just fine.

First Beetroot

Just picked first batch of Beetroot

Whole heap of parsnip seedlings sown today along with some french beans

Bee keeper with new colony of bee's.

Totem Time

Made mileage totem and planted pumpkins, spring onions, celery, and two varieties of kale, curly and Tuscan.
Hot and sunny today 25 degrees.

Cauli Cage

Cauliflower cage made today.
21 degrees and partly sunny, also 34 peas seeds planted.

Winter Onion

1st onion picked yesterday,  as we had a very wet winter the onions seem to have not taken that well but this one was sure strong in a salad we had so if the others are  as good can't complain.

Fruit Cage

Made a fruit cage today so hopefully Mr Squirrel & chums can keep their little hands off our Gooseberries.

Sow Time

24 degrees and sunny today.
Sowed 21 Ruby Red sweetcorns and 21 Yellow & White combi, plus 10 Spinach and 5 French Beans also 3 Cauliflowers, Basil and Sweet peas.

Corn Field

Moved lavenders and planted 9 sunflowers in thier place.
Dug over and ready to receive sweetcorn seed next week.

Winter Spinach Finale

Picked the last of the winter spinach, had a good crop and all sewn from seed.

Spring Has Sprung

Finally after a very wet winter and a year on from when we took charge of Area 57a we can look forward to some early unseasonal sunshine and start to clear plot 63a which we acquired in October  with an end of season fire.

Hoping for some more sunny days ahead.
